From Massachusetts to Maine
Day 33 - 141 Miles
Lexington and Concord, it's where our country became... and you can feel it as you walk around the Lexingrton Battle Green where the first shot was fired and the first "American" died,
and the North Bridge at Concord where the British were turned back and eventually routed. Both cities revel in that shared history.
Then on northward, through New Hampshire and into Maine. We drove up the coast as far as Wells, where we set up camp. We queried the locals and were sent to another out of the way place, also off the main drag, and consumed vast quantities of lobster.
It was a good day.
