Up the Coast of Maine
Day 34 - 405 Miles
Kip decided he needs to do the trip faster so we're taking different routes. We'll meet again after he visits his grandkids out west. So he's running up the Interstate while I do the coast.
I think I've figured out that swamps, marshes, and bogs, are all the same thing... except for the temperature. Along the Maine coast, the lowlands are indistinguishable from the Florida coastal swamps... but a lot colder. The day never got above 60 degrees and instead of humid, it was just misty. LOL
The towns, to me, seem unique. Lots of brick.
The people here seem desperate for summer to arrive.
I was impressed by this 'stayed' bridge, you can see the old suspension bridge behind it.
And lest you think the whole state is green...
Total Miles: 9080
